Overview
Zinc stearate acts as an internal and external lubricant and mould release agent in plastics and rubber, an anti-tack for rubber compounds, and a sanding aid and matting agent in coatings. In cosmetics it improves powder adhesion and slip.
It is a fine, white, water-repellent powder.
