Dehydrated Castor Oil

About Product

Dehydrated Castor Oil (DCO) is a modified drying oil derived from castor seeds, processed to remove hydroxyl groups and enhance drying properties. It offers excellent flexibility, gloss retention, and chemical resistance, making it ideal for alkyd resins used in paints, inks, and coatings. Its high reactivity and good pigment-wetting abilities contribute to improved durability and adhesion in finished films, while supporting eco-friendly, bio-based formulations.

Chemical Formula: C57H104O9 (approximate, as it's a triglyceride-based oil)

Chemical Code: 8001-79-4 (CAS Number)
